She was predeceased by: her parents, Lallie Flanagan Yarbrough and A. B. Yarbrough; and her husband Samuel C. Bishop. She is survived by: her children, David Bishop (Christy) of Woodstock, Georgia and Betsy Bishop of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Samuel Bishop and Sydney Bishop.
A reception was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Wynnton Room (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbus Hospice in her memory.
