He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ponce Gutierrez and Jimmy Santiago Gutierrez; his brother Jason Gutierrez; his parents-in-law, Jose Lara and Mary Lara; his brother-in-law Lawrence Lara; and his aunts and uncles, Jose Gutierrez, Gregorio Gutierrez, Feliciano Ponce, Elva Maldonado and Terri Aguilar.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gutierrez; his siblings, Viola Soto (Ricardo), Valentina Cravens (Kyle), Veronica Warnock (Jim) and Joseph Gutierrez (Angie); his siblings-in-law, Jose Lara, Donald Lara (Stephanie) and Lisa Lara; his aunts, Gertrude Alvarado, Mercedes Sueppel and Aurora Castoreno; and his uncle Valdemar Gutierrez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907).
