He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston "Pete" Quinley and Nora Lee Matthews Quinley; his siblings, Cecil Quinley, Pete Quinley, Tom Quinley, Jake Quinley, Roy Edward Quinley, Fannie Lee Watley and Ruby Lynn Stokes; his former wife Geraldine Morris Quinley; his daughters, Jeannie Gladney and Joyce Keldie; and his great grandchild Jack Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Pate; his stepdaughters, Terri Tiutasi and Tracy Doughty (Pamela); and his grandchildren, Kristie Gunn (Steve), Tony Gladney, Ronnie Gladney (Amy), Michael Westbrook, Stephanie Matos (Paul) and Dianna Lucas (Robert). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Fisher Chapel (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
