He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Schuster and Gertrude Schuster; his son Martin; and his brothers, Wilbur Schuster of Pilot Grove and Virgil Schuster (Mary) of Phoenix, Arizona..

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Mitch Schuster (Kim), Chris Schuster (Betty) and Todd Schuster (Allison); his grandchildren, Emmanuel Nkoueleue (Lauren), Joshua Schuster (Stephanie), Jonathan Schuster (Emily), Amy Jaeger (Mitch), Michael Schuster, Julie Margolis (Robert), Sarah Steed (Patrick), Laura Mason (Hunter) and Scott Schuster; his siblings, Norbert Schuster (Louise), Marjorie Spaedy (Darrell), James Schuster (Rosie) and Darrell Schuster (Julie); and his sister-in-law Shirley Schuster. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
