She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Screws and Hassie Haden Screws; her grandchildren, Wyatt Givens and Madeline Hendry; and her sons-in-law, Joe Alexander and John Young.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Alexander of Greenville, Martha Young of Beaufort and Glenn Hendry, Jr. (Joyce) of Winter Garden, Florida.; her grandchildren, Michael Alexander (Barbara Butler), Mark Alexander (Anita), Jennifer Post (Jeff), Abby Bourque (Leland) and Meghan Mercer (Max); and her friend Airstream. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
