In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Jeter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Jeter farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Charles Sidney McCain; her parents, James Leo Jeter and Olive Rebekah Huey Jeter; and her brothers, Jack Lovick Jeter and George William Jeter.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Michael McCain (Barbara), Rebekah Leigh Crenshaw, Mary Susan Oppel (Fred) and Dr. Sarah E. McCain. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
