John Gran wrote a sympathy message

“It is with a heavy heart to hear of the passing of our beloved Aunt Nell. She was our second Mother and my Mother's best friend and PTA partner. Prayers for our best friends Ronnie, Carla and David. We grew up together. We were always together and made many trips to Callaway Gardens in the station wagon singing 99 beers and fried chicken with all the fixins, and our rule of no swimming until 30 minutes after eating. God bless you Aunt Nell. We miss you, Aunt Nell, and we will always love you!”
