With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Cody Skipper of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cody Henley and Etta Mae Henley; her husband James I. Skipper; and her daughter Rebecca Margaritis. She is survived by: her son Michael Skipper (Denise); her grandchildren, Stacey Borders, Jeremy Skipper, Kimberly Skipper, Melanie Little and Phillipa Jimosse; her pet Andrew; her close friend Lisa Hartley; and her caregiver Lindsay.
