It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Duffell (Columbus, Georgia), born in Opp, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Clyde Duffell and Laura Louise Blocker Duffell. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Donahoo Duffell of Columbus; his children, Gina Parker (Robert) of Baker, Chad Duffell of Opp, John Duffell of Opp and James Foster, III (Barbara) of Columbus; and his siblings, Wayne Duffell (Ann) of Chula and Beth Carnley of Opp. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
