Merlin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Merlin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merlin will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Thomas Jackson and Harry Ward; and his sisters, Vivian Robinson and Debora Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Progressive Funeral Home (4235 St. Mary's Road, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fourth Street Baptist Church (222 5th St, Columbus, GA 31901).
