It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael McAfee of Columbus, Georgia, born in Roberta, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry McAfee and Ellen Bankston McAfee. He is survived by : his wife Mildred Eidson of Atlanta, GA.; his son Mickey (Heather) of Columbus, GA; his grandchildren, Dillon McAfee, Trinity McAfee of Columbus, GA and Kayla Swartz of Jacksonville, NC; his great grandchild Hayden Swartz of Jacksonville, NC.; his sister Pat Bailey of Roberta, GA; and his brother-in-law Larry Roberts of Waynesville, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a gift to St. Luke UMC for Naomi's Village in Kenya, Africa or your favorite area of service.
