He is survived by: his wife Debbie Steele; his children, Ashley Hawthorne of Hamilton and Michael Steele (Jessica) of Fortson; his grandsons, William Hunter Hawthorne, Matthew William Steele, Joshua Swanson and Caleb Swanson; his siblings, Gene Gallops, Steven Wagoner (Angie), Ricky Wagoner, Wes Stevenson (Melissa) and Tina Jackson; and his pet Yeti. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, countless friends.
