He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ernest Kitts and Lola Maude Tickle Kitts; his wife Alma Tibbs Kitts; his siblings, Roy Kitts, Eugene Kitts, Ira Kitts, Layne Kitts, Hobart Kitts, Stellena Roe, Loella Kitts and Nellie Wayne Vaught; and his daughter Karen Joyce McRae.
He is survived by: his sister Wanda Thompson; his children, Ricky Dean Kitts (Christine) of Columbus, Alan Fay Kitts (Jennifer) of Ellerslie and Robin Lynn Enfinger (Jason) of Cataula, Georgia; his friend Evelyn Hammett; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Trippe, Ben Trippe, Brian Trippe, Lauren Segars, Ricky Kitts Jr., Keith Kitts, Jesse Kitts, Christopher Kitts, Jenna Cole, Nathan Kitts, Cody Enfinger and Austin Enfinger. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
