She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysees McLester (Winnie McLester) and Minnie; her husband Willie E. Cook, Sr.; and her children, Meredith Cook and Coleena Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Artmus Cook (Patricia), Willie E. Cook, Jr. (Mildred), Fabian J. Cook, Sr. (Avistine), Delisa Fisher (Carl) and Carrie Williams; her sisters, Ruth Ogletree, Winnie Hall, Evelyn Carde and Linda Hunt (James); and her granddaughters, Felicia Hood (Willie) and Catina Cook. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
