He was predeceased by : his parents, Gus Nicholas Vogas and Sophia Zoumberis Kontaxis; and his sister Katherine Faye Vogas. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Vogas; his children, Francine K. Brittingham (Matt Evenson), Christina Chartier, Gus Vogas (Samantha) and Nicholas Vogas, Jr. (Monika Gennardo); his siblings, Aspasia Kontaxis (Amy Ostendorf) and Anthony Kontaxis (Keith Fenton); his grandchildren, Corey Alan Chartier, Illana K. Brittingham and Dylan Brittingham (Kendall); and his great grandchild Kingston Brittingham.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home (4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
