We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 79, Patricia Bass Fleming of Columbus, Georgia, born in Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Freddie Updike; her brother Larry Jackson; her stepdaughter Mary Elizabeth Justice; and her husband Al Fleming. She is survived by: her sister Phyllisia Jackson; her children, Vicki Updike Hardage, Missy Lemons (Donnie), Johnny Updike (Stephanie) and Jenny James (Shane); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Bass, Beth Sauerbrun, Chase Hardage, Madison Bass, Haley Hardage, Caden Lemons, John Updike, Abigail Bass, Sydney James, Freddie Updike, Max Lemons, Ellie James and Adalyn Updike.
