She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Leslie Colvin; and her siblings, Madge Colvin Bray and Wandeen Colvin Davis. She is survived by: her husband Robert William Murphy, Sr. of Columbus, GA; and her children, Jenny Murphy Carver (Dana) of Midland, GA, Robert William Murphy, Jr. (Martha) of West Point, GA, Charles C. Murphy of Birmingham, AL, Donna Cassell (David) of Virginia and Rita Piedmont of Pine Mountain, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Columbus Hospice.
