He is survived by: his daughter Diana H. Long Brown of Lawrenceville, GA; his grandson David Glenn Brown of Alexandria, VA; his siblings, Donald Long of Huntsville, AL and Marilyn Smith of Mechanicsville, MD; his children, Debra Johnson (Gary) of Smiths Station, AL, Robin Savell (Kenny) of Phenix City, AL, Joseph Wade Jr. (Kelly) of Phenix City, AL and David Wade (Mickey) of Tallassee, AL; and his friend Jose Rivera (Sherry) of Columbus, GA.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
