He was predeceased by: his wife Michelle Fleuret Barker; his parents, Martha Murphy Barker and Austin Barker; and his siblings, Billy Barker and Janice Lassiter.
He is survived by: his son John Steven Barker; his daughter-in-law Kristin Barker; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Barker Langfitt (Terry Langfitt) and Steven Brendon Barker (Bri Middel); his great grandchildren, Aaron Langfitt and Rowan Langfitt; and his siblings, Joleita Atkinson and Barbara Anne Ray.
