He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrel Jason Alford and Jacqueline Peck Alford; his sister Jacqueline Lynn Pridgeon; and his brother-in-law Charlie Pridgeon. He is survived by: his wife Julia Osbon Alford; his children, Christy Alford Scrivner (Derek) and Richard Jason Alford; his stepdaughter Nicole Regan Watson (Matthew); his grandchildren, Christopher Scrivner (Loren), Kate Scrivner, Matthew Scrivner, Eli Scroggins, Micah Watson and Noah Watson; his great grandchildren, Woods Christopher Scrivner and Scottie Marie Scrivner; and his nephew Johnny Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
