We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025, at the age of 69, Rickey Stutson of Columbus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Rickey may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Stutson and Hattie Kate Gooch; and his son Rickey Scott. He is survived by: his wife Dollie Stutson; his children, Rodney Neeley (Stephanie), Wykeenia Russell, Shermaine Hollis (Cavell) and Roshell Dorsey (Anthony); and his sister Lindsey Crocker (Larry). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sconiers Funeral Home (836 5th Ave, Columbus, GA 31901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greater Peace Baptist Church (2821 8th St, Columbus, GA 31906). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (4500 St Marys Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
