With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C Meadows Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 100. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Bennett Mobley and Stella Mae Campbell; his wife Ruth Kathleen King; his children, Karen Elizabeth Armstrong and Robert Campbell Meadows, Jr.; and his sisters, Kathryn Ennis and Joann Wilkins.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jayne Govar of Columbus, GA., Teresa Murdock (Bobby) of Columbus, GA. and Tammy Condrey of Columbus, GA.; and his grandchildren, Tami Wallace, Lauren Aseron, Morgann Hall, Michael Govar, Robert Meadows III, Jessica Bauer, Allyson Lawrence, Nicole Condrey and Tyler Condrey. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
