He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Gallops and Edith Jeanette Moore Gallops; his granddaughter Courtney; and his great grandchild Sadie. He is survived by: his brothers, Don Gallops (Judy) and Richard Gallops; his children, Lance Smith (Jenny), Rachel Gallops White, Amber Crisco (Ned), Heather Hewitt and Nicole Duke; his grandchildren, Trinity, Cooper, Harper, Skylar, Bubba, Trevor (Jessica), Clara, Jaelyn, Isaiah, Neshawn and Cynsere; his great grandchildren, Jase, Levi, Waylon and Bentley; his cousin Alan McDaniel (Connie); and his close friends, Brenda McGregor and Lindy Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
