He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jones and Estelle Lee. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Everett Jones; his daughter K. Phifer Hill; his grandson Andre Phifer; his nephew Cecie Johnson; and his godson Ken Whitfield (Vickie). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
