He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles Lowery, Sr. and Theresa Breitfeller Roach. He is survived by: his wife Arlene E. Lowery of Columbus; and his children, John Lowery (Sandy) of Grand Rapids, MI., Karen Buss (Ron) of The Villages, FL., Dan Lowery (Sherry) of Columbus, Georgia and Lynn Jacobs (George) of La Canada, CA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the St. Anne's Outreach 1820 Box Road Columbus, Georgia 31907 or the Kiwanis Club of Columbus P.O. Box 1331 Columbus, Georgia 31902.
