He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Leroy Wilkerson, Sr. and Melba Eugenia Thorpe; and his wife Sara "Janet" Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Robin Beatty (Doug) of Marietta, GA, Kelly Kunkle of Columbus, GA and David Wilkerson (Elisa) of Columbus, GA; his grandchildren, Jill New (Jonathan), John Beatty (Jessica), Bill Martin (Lauren), Brooke Greenlee (Anthony), Stuart Wilkerson (Natalie) and Shannon Hopkins (Taylor); and his niece Diane Haywood. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
