He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Schamp and Ann Kirkland Schamp; and his brother Jerre Schamp. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Roper Schamp; his daughters, Kimberly Williams (Eric) and Stephanie Schamp; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Tomlinson, Robert Williams (Dailey), Tori Dismukes (Brad), Sarah Williams and Andrew Williams. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and a host of cousins.
