He was predeceased by: his parent Avnar Curenton; his brother Durwood Curenton; and his mother Martha Nell Curenton. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Glen Curenton Jr. (Melanie), April Curenton Nelson and Portia Curenton Sweeney (Tripp); his brother Eddie Curenton; and his grandchildren, Logan, Alyson, Alyssa Curenton, Jasmine Alvarez, Autum, Savannah Nelson, Alexandrea, Trent and Maddison Sweeney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
