He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Gray; his daughter Deborah Gibson; his siblings, Faye Fowler, Sue Capps, Patsy Spivey, Lewis Hampton Gray, Edgar Gray and Charles Gray; and his uncle Robert Mote.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gray; his daughter Donna Lambert; his granddaughter Tiffany Thomas (John); his great grandchildren, Holton Buice and Jett Thomas; and his friend Tom Burgess.
