It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rudi Cumiskey Pierson (Columbus, Georgia), who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles, Eileen Cumiskey, Sr., Roy Clayton Smisson, Jr. and Robert Lawrence "Larry" Rudulph, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Justin Lewis Pierson; her parents, Charles Joseph "Chuck" and Mary Lynne Smisson Cumiskey, Jr.; her brother Charles J. "Charlie" Cumiskey III; her grandmother Patricia Smisson Rudulph Passailaigue; and her pets, Murphy, Percy, Sissy, Goose and Maverick. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, in-laws, and cousins.

To honor the life and love of Rudi, memorial gifts may be made in Rudi's honor to PAWS Humane Society, 4900 Milgen Road, Columbus, Georgia, Brookstone School, Columbus GA or to the American Liver Foundation.
