She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Holmes and Lille B. Earl; her husband James Williams; her brothers, Lonnie Holmes and Roosevelt Holmes; and her granddaughter Sheri Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Mitchell, Rosa of Maryland, Yvonne Mitchell and Laverne Mitchell; and her sisters, Rosa Smith and Rochelle Holmes. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
