He is survived by: his mother Willie Ann Day; his wife Fann Tate; his children, Arsenio Johnson, Justin Glover, Ashley Tate and Tracey Tate; and his siblings, Lawrence Day, Voncilla Johnson, Tammie Banks (Charles), Judy Day and Bernice Hartman. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sconiers Funeral Home (836 5th Ave, Columbus, GA 31901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
