She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cook and Louise Cook; her husband Robert Lee Cochran; and her son James Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lewis and Teresa Chasteen; her grandchildren, Lisa, John Lewis, Shannon Smith, Marty Chasteen (Kylie) and Erin Rinehart (Bradley); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Zoe Chasteen, Alex Smith, Ella, Lincoln and Ruby Rinehart.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Columbus Hospice of Georgia, Sarah's angels on earth.
