He is survived by: his wife Susan Gleaton Sealy of Columbus, GA; his children, Katherine Spencer Sealy and William Patrick Spencer; his parents, James "Jimmy" Sealy and Barbara Franklin Sealy; his sister Lori Allen (Robbie); and his nephew Grant Allen.

Before joining the team at Andrew, he served as the Senior Associate Vice President for Development at Columbus State University, in addition to several other fund-raising positions over the years including the Florida State University Foundation.
