He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Lane and Voncile Lane. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Lane (Pat) of Columbus, GA, Charlotte Bland (Charlie) of Fortson, GA and L. C. Lane, Jr. (Deborah) of Newnan, GA; and his siblings' children, Matthew Lane, Mitchell Lane, Chris Lane, Andy Lane, Wendy Anderson, Anna Rodeheaver and Sarah Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to CrossPointe Church, 2301 Airport Thruway, Suite B, and to Valley Rescue Mission of Columbus, 2903 2nd Avenue.
