He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Theus and Beatrice Theus; and his wife Peggy Usher. He is survived by: his children, Dr. William Theus (Renee) of Calhoun, Ted Theus (Brenda) of Harris County, Jennifer Steelmon (Edward) of Harris County and Elizabeth Glass (Brooks K.) of Harris County; his sister Betsy Smith of Griffin, Georgia.; and his friend Dr. Donna Burrell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that any donations in Tom's honor be made to Columbus Hospice or the Gardens at Calvary.
