He was predeceased by : his parents, Jimmie Smith and Roberta Lee Smith; his wife Edith Smith; his children, Tommie Smith, Jr. and Sharon Smith; and his siblings, A. J., Jimmie, David, Lou Etta, Carrie, Shirley and Nellie.
He is survived by : his children, Lynda Pigram (Warren), Deborah Smith and Larry Jemison (Myra). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; a host of many other relatives and friends.
