He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marvin Cannon, Sr. and Myrtice Elizabeth Weatherington Cannon; his wife Katherine Ann Day Cannon; and his sister Mary Alice Pathanos. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Cannon (Duang) of Columbus, GA. and Kristin Lowe (Jonathan) of Columbus, GA.; his stepsons, Jon Griggs of Dublin, GA. and Paul Griggs, III (Trae) of Washington State; his sister Betty Wildman (Larry) of Columbus, GA.; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Griggs (Sarah Beth) of Paul Griggs, IV., Chandler Griggs and Baleigh Griggs; and the mother of his children Sue Anne Rathel.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to Grace Presbyterian Church Youth Activity Center Building Fund 7211 Britton Drive Columbus, Georgia 31904 where his passion for building will live forever.
