He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Dillard and Elizabeth Pace Dillard; his wife Louise Duskin Dillard; and his sister Jane Turner Greene (Brig). He is survived by: his siblings, Sara Dillard Morrison (Thomas) and James C. Dillard; his children, Louise McMath Dillard of Columbus and William E. Dillard III (Marcella Miller) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Stuart Lee Johnston (Peyton) of Atlanta, Thomas Pace Johnston (Sarah) of Durham, William E. Dillard, IV of Atlanta, Marcella McMath Dillard of Tucson, Arizona and Mary Lucile Dillard of Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Collier McMath Johnston, William Patrick Johnston of Atlanta, Elizabeth Lois Johnston and Kathryn Pace Johnston of Durham.
