He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Cabaniss Gordy and Schley Gordy, Jr.; and his sister Sally Kenimer (Guy). He is survived by: his wife Val Gordy; his children, Kitty Walker (Chris) and Schley Gordy (Jill); and his grandchildren, Katherine Buracker, Schley Gordy, Merry-Alice Gordy, Anne Henley Walker, Bennett Walker and Phillip Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
