He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kes and Florence Fredrickson Kes; and his brother Pieter A. Kes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Deitrick Kes; his children, Sarah Crockett (Davy) and Todd Kes; his grandson Jareth Finch (Hailey); and his sister-in-law Vicki Kes.
