He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Mayher Badcock and Philip Badcock. He is survived by : his daughters, Samantha Badcock Rhodes (Carl Jr) and Katherine Margaret Badcock; his grandchildren, Carl Alexander Rhodes III, William Scott "Scotty" Rhodes and Thomas Mayher Rhodes; his brothers, Philip Badcock (Jenny) and Chris Badcock; his nieces and nephews, Hendley Badcock Morton (Hugh), Emily Badcock, Will Badcock (Caroline) and Christopher Badcock; his aunt Dorothy Shepard; and his uncle John Mayher (Ginny).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Columbus (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (2101 Wildwood Ave, Columbus, GA 31906).
