He is survived by: his wife Emma Brooks; his stepchildren, Curtis Harper, Jennifer Dozier, Bernice Harper and Rochelle Harper; and his siblings, Robert Brooks (Annette), Jimmie Brooks, Nellie Mae Hicks (Lewis), Hettie Mae Brooks and Sarah Ann Grier (Johnny). He is also survived by grandchildren great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
