We bid farewell to Winfred Fowler of Columbus, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Winfred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hilburn Fowler and Lillian Self Fowler; his brother Dr. William B. Fowler (Jane) of Asheville, NC; his son Robert Land Fowler; and his pet Willie Lee Seminole.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Land Fowler; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Fowler, Hattie, Faye Fowler of Basel, Wade Fowler (Polly), Sally and Louise Fowler of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Church, Trees Columbus, or Columbus Hospice.
