She is survived by: her brother Alexander Thornton; her children, Alphonso Irving of Fayetteville, GA, Peggy Irving Hagan (David) of Decatur, GA, Paulette I. Wilcox of Fairburn, GA and Pricilla Khan (Tariq) of Riverdale, GA; and her sister Geneva Norwood (Huford) of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
