He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gladston Booth and Laurie Estelle Long Booth; his son Randall Poss Booth; and his siblings, Kathryn, Margaret and Howard "Bill".

He is survived by: his son Neal Walter Booth (Sandy) of Gainesville; his wife Barbara; and his grandchildren, Eric (Camilla), David (Morgan), Walt (Natalie), Ben (Carin), Jordan Crawley (Trevor) and Matt. He is also survived by Eight great grandchildren, and several in-laws plus nieces and nephews.
