He is survived by: his wife Doris James Bennett of Hull; his stepchildren, Tony James of Hull, Robin James of Athens and Allyson Terrell of Hull; his grandchildren, Jonathan James (Erin), Lauren Cawley (Adam), Christopher Heider (Kayla), Nick Hakimi (Paige), Jessica Koehler (Adam), Jenna Sanders (Hudson) and Tyler Terrell (Mary Grace); and his great grandchildren, Greyson, Carson James, Emeri Cawley, Brees, Brinley Heider, Remy Koehler, Landry Grace, Robert Sanders and Kayden Terrell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christian Life Worship Center (125 Kathwood Dr, Athens, GA 30607). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
