With sadness, we share the passing of Marjorie Ruth Radcliffe of Comer, Georgia. Marjorie, born on August 25, 1931, passed away on August 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Alvin and Tessa Faye Carraway; and her husband Hugh Frank Radcliffe. She is survived by: her children, Rip Radcliffe (Diane) of Mt. Dora, FL, Kenneth Radcliffe (Peggy) of Gainesville, FL., Sherri Radcliffe of Port St and Sheila Richey (Mark) of Ila, GA; and her grandchildren, Jessica Harrison, Joshua Radcliffe, Brooks Radcliffe, Blake Radcliffe and Isaac Radcliffe. She is also survived by five sisters, one brother, one brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Special Olympics or the Tim Tebow Foundation.
