She was predeceased by: her parents, T. C. Bates and Irene Bates of Comer, GA.; and her brother Harold Bates. She is survived by: her husband Howard T. Threlkeld, Sr.; her son Chip (Angie Threlkeld); her grandchildren, Jenna, Barret Johnson, Trey and Brooke Threlkeld; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Colton, Westlyn and Raegan; and her sister Faye Bray.
