He is survived by: his wife Renee Simmons Varner; his children, Jessica Varner of Cumming, Melanie (Damon Kepes) and Brandon (Jennifer Varner); his granddaughters, Ella, Eva and Lydia of Cumming; and his siblings, Stan (Claudine Varner), Sharon (Dave Tonge), Kathy Varner of Duluth and Dan Varner of Commerce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
